PAST CONTINUOUS

Se usa para hablar de acciones que ocurrían en un momento específico del pasado. No sabemos si se acabaron o no, tan sólo que ocurrían entonces.

Yesterday at six o´clock I was watching TV

When the bomb exploded, I was cleaning the window.

At that time I was listening to the radio.

While Mary was singing, her sister was dancing.

Form

Se crea este tiempo con el verbo ser/estar en pasado (was/were) más la forma contínua del verbo (-ing).
